Who ever said that technology and fashion could never go hand in hand? Well, to be honest, most women have said that.
But China-born, US-based entrepreneur Jing Zhou has found a way to bridge the gap with Elemoon, a stylish wristband that allows you to create custom designs to match any outfit, give you custom notifications whenever you receive a call or text, and set off audio alerts on your phone whenever you feel you’ve misplaced it.
After a successful campaign on Kickstarter, Elemoon is slated to launch by Valentine’s Day, and will eventually expand into a full jewellery line including necklaces, earrings, cufflinks and more.
Of course, it’s not all about the technical awesomeness of the project. Jing’s team took inspiration from pretty Native American jewellery designs as well as impressionist paintings from the 19th century to come up with Elemoon’s design. The result is a remarkable, elegant women’s gadget that is as practical as it is stylish.
