GOULDING GOLD: Ellie Golding performing live in Singapore sans dance, dance revolution.Joyce Ng

Brought in to Singapore by Now/Live Singapore, Ellie Goulding was in town to perform at The Star Theatre for a strong, enthusiastic crowd which certainly loved waving their distracting light sticks up in the front row, likely memorabilia leftover from their previous K-Pop concert jaunt.

Yet, aside from the overenthusiastic Jedis waving their crap in front, one other thing stood out. In fact, seven other things stood out.

In all her love for triangles, bindis and cropped tops, and as endearing as her voice and persona may be, Goulding couldn’t dance to save her life. And we bet even she knows it.

Reviewing our footage from the concert, we weren’t sure if Goulding was doing the running man, the chicken dance or trying to slide gum from under her shoe.

But whatever it is, in all her awkward turtleness, we got to admit, she was pretty awesome in all her dance, dance convolutions (except you, front row! You weren’t awesome at all).

Check out Goulding’s moves (DIFFICULTY LEVEL: suitable for beginners to drunks).
